DIRECTIONS TO BENNETT HOUSE B&B
EDITORIAL
NOTE: The Virginia Department of Transportation, in all
of its’ infinite wisdom, has given the same number to two
roads. Exits 44 and 47 are both Va. Route 234. The
difference is that Exit 44 is Route-234 By-Pass, or
Route-234 South, or Prince William Parkway (take your
choice), and Exit-47 is Route 234-Business.
From Interstate-66
WEST: (NOTE: As you
come west on I-66, Manassas is about 4.5 miles
off to your left).
Take EXIT-47A
onto Va. Route 234-Business (which is also known as Sudley
Road at that point): Proceed south on Sudley Road and go 4.5
miles to the CITY OF MANASSAS: Continue on Route-234
Business (which turns onto Grant Avenue as the road “bears”
right at a traffic light in the City of Manassas): go 0.25
miles and find Bennett Drive on your right side. Proceed to
the second house on the right, which is Bennett House
B&B. You can park either on the street or at the end of
our driveway.
From Interstate-95:
(NOTE: As you come north on I-95,
Manassas is about 20 miles off to your left.)
Take
Exit-152B, which has a sign directing you north on VA
Route-234 to MANASSAS: Proceed for about 18 miles on VA
Route 234 to the VA Route-28 North exit (also marked
Manassas); Proceed north on VA Route 28 for about 2.0 miles
to a traffic light at Grant Avenue; turn left onto
Grant Avenue and go for about 600 feet to Bennett Drive
on your left. Proceed to the second house on the right,
which is Bennett House B&B.
You can park
either on the street or at the end of our driveway.
From Dulles Airport:
As you leave the airport exit to the right immediately onto
VA Route-28 (south). The traffic sign also says Centreville.
It comes up quickly.
Proceed south
on VA Route-28, through Centreville and Manassas Park, for a
total of about 18 miles to the CITY OF MANASSAS. Stay on VA
Route-28 until you come to the intersection with GRANT
AVE. Look for the sign over the intersection.
(This intersection has a traffic light, a Wachovia Bank on
the right side and a 7-11 convenience store on the left
side.) Turn right onto Grant Ave and go for about 600
feet to Bennett Drive on the left side.
(The street just before Bennett Drive is Portner Street).
Proceed to
the second, and last, house on the right. This is Bennett
House B&B. You can park either on the street or at the
end of our driveway.
